Condemning the arrest of members of the Communist Party of Great Britain(M-L)
As the successors of the 16th and 17th Plenums of the Tudeh Party of Iran (*), we declare our solidarity with the comrades of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist.
We condemn the repressive behaviour of the London police in arresting the comrades of this party during a peaceful march in support of the Palestinian cause. In fact, this party is being punished by the minions of Zionism in the repressive apparatus of British imperialism due to its solidarity with the just and heroic struggle of various Palestinian currents and its uncompromising anti-Zionist positions.
The London police raided the houses of these comrades in the dark of the night in the style of the terrible security apparatus of dictators affiliated with the United States, terrorizing the families of the imprisoned comrades.
The Police has interpreted the same text of the party's statement as “supporting terrorism”! Because the party's declaration defends the liberation struggle of the Palestinian people and explains the colonial roots of the project of establishing the state of Israel. The declaration in question is clearly committed to resisting. In the past, comrades have also been arrested for a pamphlet about Zionism that explains its characters and origins. Is this attacking them shows that spreading the truth about Zionism and resisting it is very dangerous for the West?
Democracy is dangerous for the imperialist bourgeoisie of the West. In a place where imperialist governments can no longer stand in solidarity with the oppressed, they try to deal with it through repression. We once again declarour firm solidarity with the comrades of the Communist Party of Great BritainI(M-L).
